Description

Gosh, so much ambition for this piece. I'm proud of this as it really encouraged me to push for more background pieces.
  1. Base scene layout, proportions, and character constructions
  2. Background detailed sketch
  3. Character detailed sketch
  4. Paint sky and clouds. Also set foundation for water
  5. Fixed some far ground lighting
  6. Painted the ships and masking of characters.
  7. Painted the character coats and hair
  8. Finished with eyes and last clothing details.
  9. Painted the flames and smoke. Painted the waves in the water.
  10. Added smoke effect, glow, and touched up on shadows.
  11. Brought out the fire glow and glare.
  12. Final color grading and darkening
I should find more amusing things to say in these compilations.

There is so much to do, it's incredible, but as we see,  think you have to respect them ^^
Can you tell us what the steps are which took the most time to be realized ???
Nice work in any case, the final piece leaves no doubt about the victory of these brigands :)
